Prof. Atsuyuki Morishima has been elected as the next Asia Pacific Regional Chair of iSchools, an international consortium of informatics graduate schools at research universities around the world. iSchools was established in 2005 to promote informatics research. The iSchools was established in 2005 to promote informatics research. iSchools currently has 122 member universities around the world, including the University of North Carolina, Carnegie Mellon University, the University of California at Berkeley, and the University of Pittsburgh, and 35 universities from the Asia Pacific region.
