A delegation from National Taipei University visited Kasuga campus in University of Tsukuba

On November 7, 2024, a delegation from the Graduate School of Information Management at National Taipei University (NTPU), comprising 4 faculty members and 27 students, visited the Kasuga campus in University of Tsukuba and conducted a joint research workshop ”Tsukuba×NTPU Bilateral Academic Exchange Program”. The workshop covered a broad range of topics in the field of informatics, including generative AI, healthcare, cryptocurrency, crowdsourcing, social media, and VR. Initially, research presentations were given by 3 faculty members from University of Tsukuba, as well as 4 faculty members from National Taipei University. This was followed by research presentations from 4 graduate students from the Informatics Degree Program of University of Tsukuba, and 4 graduate students from the Graduate School of Information Management at National Taipei University. Numerous questions were raised by both the faculty and students from both universities, leading to lively discussions that extended beyond the scheduled time. During the coffee break, exchanges of opinions about each university and their research topics were conducted not only among the faculty but also among the students.

This visit is expected to promote international research and educational cooperation between institute of Library, Information and Media Science and related educational organizations and from the Graduate School of Information Management at National Taipei University.
