New certificate program page is released

Practical Research Introduction Course for Library, Museum, and Archival Professionals (Certificate program) to Launch in the Next Academic Year

The current Library Management Course will be renewed and relaunched in the 2026 academic year (Reiwa 8) as the Practical Research Introduction Course for Library, Museum, and Archival Professionals. The curriculum has been expanded with the addition of two new courses: “Cultural Institutions Policies and Practices” and “How to Write an Academic Paper”. All courses will be offered online and on-demand, allowing students to participate from anywhere in Japan.

In addition, students who successfully complete the program and go on to enroll in the Master’s Program in Informatics at the University of Tsukuba will be eligible to transfer credits for the relevant courses.
